I hope the week was great! The weeks here just keep flying by. How is it already December?
Tuesday it snowed! and lots of it! We were teaching English Class and talking about winter and everything that comes with this time of year and we walk outside after to snow!! It was the best ever.
Wednesday morning we were out contacting and talking to someone and this bob comes up and starts getting mad at Masa Teilore in Russian for not having a hat on hahaha. She hasn't left the apartment again not wearing her hat. We were also knocking and this cute older lady opens the door and is just so happy we came by to talk to her. She the first door in the building and as we knocked our way through the rest of the building we could still hear her talking to her cats haha so cute.
With the snow and very very cold weather there is lots of ice and the branches are hanging lower and several times this week we have seen people run into them and one guy even ran into a pole haha. I love the winter.
I also got to spend a day with Masa Luisa! Woot woot! Just like the good old days! I love her and such a great day full of miracles! We found someone who she knew in Liepaja and later that night gave her a church tour!
Saturday started Light the World!!! We were able to serve in the soup kitchen! We brought cookies to make a special day for them. After we decided to contact to each of our members houses and ask to serve them for 20 minutes. Only one of them ended being home, but we were able to help her make cookies and it was so fun! Service is the way to go! I am so excited for the rest of Light the World and this Christmas season. Yesterday at church we were able to teach Relief Society and come up with ideas of how we can all Light the World, our community, family, and faith! It's going to be so great!
This Christmas give a gift to Jesus Christ. He has done all for us, he suffered all for us, and so much is possible because of Him! I know that as we try and make this time special we will feel the spirit greater and come closer to Christ!
